1.25 Saturday - Police refuse to give back the ball in a non-stop cricket match outside the Baxter Detention Centre.
As balls go soaring above the heads of some 150 Police standing guard in front of the BCG, the constabulary are refusing to return them.
Activists say this is very "unaustralian" behaviour! One officer grabbed a collected ball and tossed it behind him over his shoulder. Other police are returning the balls as they arrive behind the fences.
However it has been discovered that its easy enough to get objects into the Baxter frontlines but much more difficult to get out.
One of the rules of the Baxter Test Match is if if the ball goes over the fence "its a SIX and you may never get out"...
