Jeju hosts Asia-Pacific Forum on agricultural policy
The fourth Asia-Pacific Forum on Agricultural Policy opened at Jeju University Monday (Sept. 5) with some 50 experts from eight countries attending.
The participants from Japan, China, the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, Korea and two other countries discussed various issues, including the Doha Development Agenda (WTO-DDA) of the World Trade Organization.
The event was jointly organized by the Korea Association of FAO, the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and the Global Agriculture Policy Institute.
