Inspector- General refers Parkin case to Federal Police
The Inspector- General of Intelligence and Security, Ian Carnell, has asked the Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police to investigate whether criminal conduct was involved in the leak of ASIO’s allegations against peace activist, Scott Parkin to the press.
Greens Senator Bob Brown has released Mr Carnell’s letter (see link:

Senator Brown has also written to Mr Carnell asking
him to find out why he (Senator Brown) was refused an ASIO
briefing of Mr Parkin’s arrest and
deportation.
