Israel:Resistance Continues Against Apartheid Wall
Resistance Continues Against the Illegal Apartheid Wall in Bili'n and Aboud
On Friday the 16th of December, at 12:00, the two Palestinian villages Aboud and Bili'n will hold simultaneous demonstrations against the illegal apartheid wall which is claiming much of their agricultural lands. The demonstrators will attempt to gain access and prevent construction at the sites where the illegal barrier is being built on their villages land.
In Bil'in, the demonstrators will approach the construction site chained together in groups of 5, each wearing symbols of the countries they are from to show from which countries the solidarity comes from. The chains represent the lack of freedom that is created by a brutal occupation that imprisons everyone involved, even the Israelis.
Bil'in and Aboud villages are severely affected by the apartheid wall which has stolen a large percentage of the land in both villages and transferred it to the nearby settlements.
