Update On Sustainable Palm Oil Association
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a global multi-stakeholder initiative on sustainable palm oil that was formally established under Article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code on 8 April 2004.
The not-for-profit Association will have
members representing major players along the palm oil supply
chain. The RSPO is a unique platform for pragmatic
co-operation to contribute to the expansion of sustainably
produced palm oil and its uses.
RSPO welcomes its 100th Ordinary Member
Kuala Lumpur, 2 June 2006 – The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) officially welcomed its 100th Ordinary Member, Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, on 22 May 2006. Since its formal inception in April 2004, the total membership of RSPO (including Affiliate Members) has grown steadily and now stands at more than 140 organizations and individuals committed to making sustainable palm oil a reality...

The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
invites applications for the post of RSPO Indonesia Liaison
Officer, based in Jakarta, Malaysia. The satellite office in
Indonesia and the RSPO Indonesia Liaison Officer will be
responsible to support the RSPO secretariat in Kuala Lumpur
and promote the overall objectives of the RSPO in
Indonesia.
