Greens call for resignation of uranium industry body chief

The Australian Greens today called for the resignation of the chairman of the federal government's Uranium Industry Framework, John White.

"The federal government describes John White as an independent chair, but nothing could be further from the truth," Greens energy spokesperson Senator Christine Milne said in Canberra.

Senator Milne spoke on this topic during Matters of Public Interest in the Senate today. Copies of her speech are available on request.
