Mixed turnout for voting in Cooks election
Returning officers are reporting a mixed turnout at polling booths as Cook Islanders vote in their general election today.
They say voting has been heavy in some booths but light at others.
However, the electoral office says many people will vote when they finish work.
The police have been stationed at each voting booth but report no problems.
The result of the election is expected to be known next Monday.
