Comprehensive Travel
Insurance (CTI) started the new year with a new CEO Mark
Gustafson, who joined on 1 January 2007.
Mark brings a wealth of experience from the New Zealand and United Kingdom insurance and health industries having held a number of leadership positions over the past 15 years.
Mark has a Master of Commerce (hons) in commercial law and a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting, and is a Senior Associate at the Insurance Institute. He has held senior positions at IAG (NZ), Nuffield Hospitals (UK), St Andrews Group (UK), Fisher and Paykel Finance (NZ) and Protecta Insurance (NZ).
Norm Main who retired as CEO at the end of 2006 following over 24 years with CTI will continue as a non-executive director.
CTI is a leading provider of travel insurance in New Zealand and has pioneered electronic solutions for its business partners. The company is known for excellent customer service, in particular in the management of pre-existing medical screening and 24/7 emergency assistance.
