92nd Anniversary Of The ANZAC Landing At Gallipoli
To support the commemoration of the 92nd anniversary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli, the Australian Defence Force is sending a contingent of 35 Sailors, Soldiers and Air Force personnel, drawn mostly from the Australian Federation Guard and the Royal Australian Navy Band.
The contingent will participate in the traditional ANZAC Cove Dawn Service and an Australian service at Lone Pine. The contingent will also participate in the service by 57th Turkish Regiment and New Zealand Defence Force.
Also travelling with the contingent is a member of the Australian Air Force Cadets, who received the CSGT Ellie Tibble Memorial Scholarship.
The senior Australian Defence Force officer at the commemorative service will be Vice Chief of Defence Force, Lieutenant General Ken Gillespie, AO, DSC, CSM.
