Joint press conference follows ITF and AP Moller-Maersk talks
On April 23 and 24 trade union leaders representing AP Moller-Maersk employees from 32 unions in 22 countries will be meeting at the headquarters of 3F, the Danish transport and general workers’ union, in Copenhagen, Denmark. On the morning of 24 April, Knud Pontoppidan, Senior Vice President of AP Moller-Maersk, will address the labour conference. Following his presentation there will be a press conference during which representatives from AP Moller-Maersk and the ITF (International Transport Workers’ Federation) will report on a new initiative that has led to an ongoing dialogue between the company and the global union federation.
