End of the general closure implemented in the Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip

The general closure implemented in the Gaza Strip and the Judea and Samaria region during the Israeli Remembrance Day and Independence Day was lifted early this morning following a security assessment.

Throughout the duration of the closure, the passage of humanitarian cases, medical personnel, NGO members and additional professional groups was authorized by the District Coordination and Liaison offices.

The IDF will continue to defend the citizens of Israel, while doing the utmost to preserve the daily life of the Palestinian population..
