Backing for "very important" climate movie
The PM has welcomed news that Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth is to be sent to every secondary school in England.
The former US vice-president made the movie to highlight the problems facing the planet from climate change.
David Miliband and Alan Johnson announced plans earlier this year to send a DVD of the film to every school as part of a special climate change pack. Mr Blair told MPs during Prime Minister's Questions:
"It's a very important film for people to see and I'm sure a lot of schools will enjoy seeing it. It's one of those films that is both entertaining and highly informative."
