Villagers Express Gratitude For Electricity
Villagers of Namulomulo in Nabouwalu Bua today expressed their gratitude to the Interim Government for bringing electricity to the village through the Rural Electrification Programme of the Public Works Department.
In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, the villagers highlighted that "This was a long dragged dire need of the people, where as previous governments could not do, the interim government managed to give the green light within 3 hours of written request I personally made," wrote Mr. Lemeki Qalibau on behalf of the people of Namulomulo.
Mr. Qalibau added that within two weeks electricity in the village was up and running.
On the other, Mr. Qalibau said that such was the case of the request for an ambulance from Nabouwalu which took the Interim Government only four days to allocate one.
He added that the people of Namulomulo are indebted to the tremendous effort by the Interim Government and "I would like to thank you as Interim Prime Minister for the tremendous work and effort delivered through your leadership in your Interim Government." said Mr. Qalibau.
