Putin Has Xmas Telephone Conversation With Bush
President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the United States George W. Bush.
Mr Putin and Mr Bush congratulated each other and the Russian and American peoples on the New Year and Christmas holidays.
Both leaders said they were happy with the regular bilateral contacts taking place at all levels, including at the top level, and expressed their firm commitment to ensuring that this positive dynamic in the two countries' relations continues.
