MFA Press Statement: Assassination Of Benazir Bhutto, 27 December 2007
MFA Spokesman's Comments: With reference to the assassination of Ms Benazir Bhutto at an election rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, on 27 December 2007, the MFA Spokesman said:
"Singapore is shocked and horrified at the suicide bomb attack that claimed the lives of Ms Benazir Bhutto and other victims. We strongly condemn these murders. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of Ms Bhutto and other victims.
Singapore strongly supports the efforts of the Pakistan government to bring the perpetrators to justice and combat terrorism."
