AEC condemns Delft day hospital's refusal to treat wounded residents
DELFT, CAPE TOWN – Doctors at the Delft day hospital are refusing to treat residents who were shot between five and hours ago at close range with rubber bullets, and plastic coated metal bullets.
These include a three year old child who was shot in the leg and foot and who is in agonising pain.
The Anti-Eviction Campaign demands that the doctors treat the injured immediately, especially the children.
