Prof. Jeff Halper, founder and co-ordinator of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions has just been arrested for trying to prevent the demolition of the Hamdan family's home in Anata, which is now being demolished. The home is inside Jerusalem's municipal borders, within sight of the Hebrew University, and fully visible on the road that leads from French Hill down towards Maale Adumim. To get to it one travels into Anata through the Shuafat Refugee Camp checkpoint, and goes to the first large traffic junction, taking a right. From there to the next T junction taking a right, in the direction of DAHIAT EL SALAAM. From there straight and then ask for the HAMDAN HOUSE (Beit Hamdan).
