Electionline to Release November 4 Preview: 12 States to Watch for Election Challenges

In a little more than two weeks, millions of Americans will cast ballots in one of the highest interest presidential elections in memory. When they get there, however, they could face long lines, new technology and registration challenges in a number of states.

"Election Preview in 2008: What if We Held an Election and Everyone Came?" provides a comprehensive preview of the rules, technology, registration figures and issues to watch in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

WHAT: Release of "Election Preview 2008: What If We Had an Election and Everyone Came?" and electionline.org's "12 States to Watch on November 4."

• A comprehensive 50-state preview of election administration, including voting systems, registration figures and potential problems.

• Detailed data on voter ID rules, provisional balloting procedures, voting system usage and early voting information.
