MO Voters Cast Provisional Ballots At Wrong Place

Advancement Project Makes Plea on Behalf of Missouri Voters Who Cast Provisional Ballots in the Wrong Polling Place
Advancement Project is calling on local election authorities to count provisional ballots cast at the wrong polling place due to poll worker error. On Election Day 2008, voters and witnesses reported that poll workers failed to direct voters to their correct polling places and instead gave them provisional ballots when they should have been directed elsewhere. As a result, potentially thousands of provisional ballots cast outside of voters' assigned polling places may not be counted, unless the record shows a voter was directed to the correct polling place and refused to go.
