Turn off the phone; get comfortable and set aside a day for reading. Once you begin Kent Windsor’s novel, KALUNGA: A Global Warning, you won’t be able to put it down until you’ve turned the final page.

The book revolves around the life of an ex-SAS soldier who has a highly-decorated combat career. A secretive group employs him for one final mission: to end the illegal flow of Chinese weaponry into Africa. To sweeten the deal, his new employer informs him that an old enemy linked to Arab terrorism will be there. It’s an offer he can’t refuse.

Windsor, with razor-sharp wit brings attention to the atrocities of genocide occurring in Darfur, Sudan and the violence of terrorism around the globe. The reader is drawn into the chaotic life of a soldier and the politics that exist within his tormented world. Set in modern day, his tightly-focused plotline reads like a non-fiction book—shocking revelations about genocide and how the powers that be are puppeteers of a crisis of such magnitude that one wonders how it can ever be remedied. The novel builds to an astounding crescendo that gives the reader an astute realization and understanding of world affairs.
