No One Can Obstruct Iran's Development

No One Can Obstruct Iran's Development

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that Iran's impact on global equations has increased dramatically and no one can create obstacles for the country's development.

President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a gathering of Iranian nationals residing abroad in Tehran on Tuesday.

Iranians played an active role in developing cultures and civilizations, he said adding that they have always led the path to perfection.

Iran's peaceful nuclear program was only an excuse to impose their will on Iran in order to halt the country's scientific development but they failed, said the president.

"If the Iranian nation had yielded to their pressure, all Iranian schools, universities and labs would have been closed," he said.

There is no doubt that Iran will never yield to their demands under any circumstances, he declared.

"They tried to create number of problems and obstacles for our development projects but now you are witnessing that the country is successfully on the course of development in its nuclear activities and no one dares to stand in the way of the Iranian nation," said President Ahmadinejad.

"They said that 'if Iran rejects the demands, the country will be isolated or it will be attacked but I told them that they are making a grave mistake'," he recalled.

"Those who threatened us have been forced to admit the dignity of our nation and those who set preconditions for us for becoming part of the international community have invited us to help them resolve global issues," he pointed out.

Islamic Iran, by relying on God and through unity and solidarity, is to march towards success and development, underlined the president.

Iranian people are promoters of peace, friendship and development around the world, concluded the president.
