WHAT: Australia's Federation Guard (AFG) will test fire artillery on the main parade ground at the Australian Defence Force Academy in preparation for ceremonial duties.
WHERE: Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA), Campbell ACT.
WHEN: 2:00 pm-3:00 pm on Friday, 22 January 2010.
Background: AFG will test fire two artillery pieces on the main parade ground at the Australian Defence Force Academy in preparation for parade duties in January 2010.
The activity has been designed to have as little impact as possible on residents and office workers; however some loud noises will be noticeable. During the activity AFG will use blank ammunition to test the guns.
ACT authorities and other Government agencies have been made aware of this activity.
