“The members of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ) are in an ecstasy since Fiji won the Wellington Sevens final” Alton Shameem JP the Fijian leader and president said today in Takapuna, North Shore City, Auckland the City of Hello Sailor.

“ The flying Fijians played magnificently, professionally and bravely all the way to the finals by engaging with other nations and reaching out to them in a sportsman like manner” Alton Shameem said.

“ Our very hearty congratulations to Fiji Sevens players, coach, management, supporters and fans in Fiji, New Zealand and internationally” the president Alton Shameem said

“ Fiji Club of New Zealand passionately encourages and supports sporting, social and economic ties with our next door neighbor Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and other nations as it is beneficial for the common good and progress of all the peoples” the Fijian leader and president Alton Shameem said.
