TEAR Fund accepting donations for Fiji
While TEAR Fund NZ has not launched an appeal to help the victims of Fiji’s most recent cyclone, it is accepting public funds to help with the aid effort.
“The fact that we have not launched an appeal does not diminish the seriousness of the devastation which has been felt by the more than 18,000 homeless,” said TEAR Fund NZ executive director Stephen Tollestrup. The public can give to the organisation’s disaster fund via www.tearund.org.nz or by calling 0800 800 77. Funds will be used where most needed.
