“We are delighted to inform you all that our committee and active member Pratima Nand QSM, JP a New Zealander and an indigenous Fijian has being honored as a Kiwibank Local Hero’s Medal for the Auckland Region recently” Alton Shameem JP the Founder and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ) said today at Takapuna, North Shore City, Auckland the City of Compassion.

We are all humbled and stoked by Pratima’s award and the dedication of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ) members, supporters and fans to helping and being ambitious for our fellow New Zealanders, Fijians and all communities both nationally and internationally” Alton Shameem the native Fijian, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ) said.
“ The Kiwibank Local Hero’s Medal is bestowed on those individuals who have made mammoth contributions to our fellow New Zealanders who need assistance most, as our industrious member Pratima Nand did” Alton Shameem the Community Leader and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ) said.
“Pratima Nand is a multi-talented person, a Justice of the Peace, Marriage & Civil Union Celebrant, Radio Broadcaster, Author, Community Worker, Child Sponsor, Health Worker, Singer, TV Producer & Presenter, Philanthropist, Interpreter, Translator, Chef and a valuable and dedicated member of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ)” Alton Shameem said.
“Many in the community regard Pratima Nand as the Mahatma Gandhi of our great country New Zealand and we indeed blessed to her as our member” Alton Shameem the President of Fiji Club of New Zealand said.
