Rewa Youths In Empowerment Workshop
One hundred and twenty (120) youths from the Province of Rewa completed an empowerment workshop at Nakorovou village in the district of Dreketi today.
The youths were taught the twelve seeds of success, aimed at improving personal development of youths in areas such as time management, self discipline and positive mental attitude.
A participant Kameli Talebula of Raviravi village in Beqa expressed his appreciation at the workshop.
“ The sessions was an eye opener. It really taught us to look at life with a positive attitude and use our time wisely to realising our true potential,” Talebula said.
A three-member medical team was also present at Nakorovou conducting free medical checks.
Youth Coordinator for the Rewa Province, Mr Etika Sekinoco said the workshop not only will benefit the youths of Rewa, it will also benefit the host village of Nakorovou.
“The Commissioner Central, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga is thankful towards the villagers of Nakorovou for hosting the event.
“ Mr Tikoitoga also assured the people here that Government will try and assist them in the construction of a new teacher’s quarter and the upgrading of the schools play ground,” she said.
