Australian Election Elation
Australian Election Elation
A comment on the Australian election by Mr Viv Forbes, Chairman, The Carbon Sense Coalition:
“This election produced great news from Canberra – Parliament is paralysed and, for now, can do no harm.
“Two Coalitions contested the election – the Green-ALP Coalition and the Liberal-National Coalition.
“The results show that neither Coalition is trusted by the canny electorate.
“Apart from the Deep South, the war on carbon promoted by the Green-ALP coalition was rejected.
“But no one was excited by the prospect of paying for Abbott’s Green Army of 15,000 loiterers and loafers.
“Let’s try things for a while without any more green grand plans and taxes.”
