PM opens refurbished Ratu Sukuna Ward

(Friday, January 28th, 2011, No:0224/MOI )

Prime Minister Commodore Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama opened the refurbished Ratu Sukuna Ward at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital this morning.

The refurbishment programme, which began last year, is a joint partnership between the Fijian Government and the British High Commission, which contributed close to $200,000 worth of funding and equipment.

Commodore Bainimarama said the CWM Hospital had continuously expanded and refurbished to improve clinical services since its official opening 87 years ago in December 1923.
