Libya Support Demonstration
Libya Support Demonstration
Time: Saturday 12
March 3pm
Place: Aotea Square
A silent march to the center of Queen St. Each person will be given a sign representing a person killed in the violence in Libya (please do not bring your own signs). This march is to show a visual message of how many people have been killed due to the violent actions taken against peaceful protesters, so please bring as many people as you can.
Also, anyone who has a Libyan flag of the design that is being used by the protesters please bring it along with you.
We showed our support for the people of Egypt to earn their freedom, now it's time we show the same support for the people of Libya.
