Israeli Ambassador H.E. Shemi Tzur presents credentials to Tonga
On Tuesday 29 March 2011, Israeli Ambassador to New Zealand H.E. Shemi Tzur presented his credentials to his Majesty King George Tupou V of Tonga.
Apart from an audience with His Majesty, The Ambassador will make courtesy calls on Government Officials, including the Speaker of the House, Lord Lasike, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Transport and Works Hon. Samiu K Vaipulu and the Minister of Health, Hon. ‘Uliti Uata.
Ambassador Tzur also is accredited to Tonga, Samoa, Cook Island and Niue.
The Embassy of Israel was re-opened in Wellington in April 2010.
