CREF Has Rightly Grown Into A Major Event In The Cultural Calendar Says Julie Owens, MP
Sydney; As the sunsets on 18th of August 2012, thousands of Australians from all across New South Wales will unite and come under one roof at the Sydney Showground Olympic Park to celebrate the diverse culture, talent, creative skills and cuisine of various communities gathered to mark the end of Ramadan.
Honorable Julie Owens MP, in her message to the CREF 2012, says that the 14th Annual Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) 2012 is going to be the most successful it has ever been. ‘It has been growing with unstoppable momentum over the past several years because of its rich cultural expression, generosity and inclusiveness to all people regardless of background in a spirit of fun, laughter and optimism. I am very much looking forward to it this year’, Ms Owens said. She said, ‘I particularly like its openness - the fact that it is enjoyed by people of many cultures who come together to celebrate the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the Eid il Fitr period’.
Hon Julie Owens asks people to join her at the CREF 2012 being held on the eve of Saturday 18 August, 2012 at Sydney Showground, Olympic Park NSW.
