The Committee for Political and Moral guidance in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, has commenced a training course for municipal police in the province entitled "Consolidating respect for human rights."
The course will include five lectures, attended by 20 officers from the municipal police in the province, and aims to consolidate respect for human rights in the Muslim police force.
Mr. Hassan Al-Astal, a lecturer at the Technology Faculty, presented the first lecture. It was on human rights in Islamic law, referencing the basis for human rights in Muslim principles.
