Isolated Ahmad Sa'adat,
Secretary General of the Popular Front for Liberating
Palestine, declares open food strike, in spite of his age
and bad health condition.
Isolated A'ahed Abu Ghalameh, at Ramon jail, Representative of the Front, in the Central Leadership Committee, confirmed the news of Sa'adat's food strike, in spite of his age and health condition.
Abu Ghalameh also assured that there are about 2000 Palestinian prisoners in occupation jails who have started, days ago, the food strike, protesting at the conditions of their detention.
It is worth mentioning that Ahmad Sa'adat and A'ahed Abu Ghalameh are some of many Palestinian prisoners who have been in solitary confinement in small cells for years, without communication with the outer world, such as family visits, media means, etc.
