Palestinian delegation hands Blair a letter about Prisoners' Strike

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- A delegation of prisoners' families committee, Palestinian Islamic and national forces representatives, and the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Jerusalem handed, on Monday, a letter to the official envoy of the Quartet, Tony Blair about the prisoners' strike in occupation prisons.
The delegation handed Bair's office a letter about 3000 hunger strikers in occupation prisoners, expressing their deep concern about their sons' lives.
They also explained in the letter the Zionist violations of the general principle of the fourth Geneva Conventions, articles 76 and 78 in particular, and the IOF violations of international law. The critical health conditions of the two detainees Bilal Diab and Thaer Hlahalh was emphasized in the letter, calling for independent doctors to examine the strikers.
The letter called on the Quartet to support all the strikers' demands and to work on achieving them.
