Breaking: On His 72 Of Hunger Strike, Bilaldiab Has Been Transferred From 'Assaf-Harofe' Hospital To Prison
09/05/12
Shockingly, PHR Israel learnt that Bilal Diab, now on his 72nd day of hunger strike, was moved yesterday back to the IPS clinic. This on a day when ICRC issued a press release specifically urging the detaining authorities to transfer others in similar stages of hunger strike to hospitals.
The IPS clinic is not adequate both ethically and professionally to treat hunger strikers. For a life saving resolution to have a chance, hunger strikers must be hospitalized.
