Abu Zuhri Calls On EU To Take Practical Steps For Saving The Prisoners
08/05/2012
GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, the spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", considered the EU’s call for the Zionist occupation to respect the prisoners’ rights and provide them with medical treatment an insufficient step.
In a written press release, on Tuesday, he called for serious practical steps that guarantee saving the prisoners, meeting their humanitarian and legitimate demands and ending their suffering caused by their seriously deteriorating health conditions.
Abu Zuhri denounced US aid to the Zionist occupation, such as recently approving a military grant of one billion dollars.
He asserted that US financial and military support for the occupation represents an American legitimization, an encouragement for the Zionist aggression on the Palestinian people and an absolute U.S bias to the occupation against Arab and Palestinian interests.
