IOA Extends Administrative Detention of Council Member
IOA Extends Administrative Detention of Municipal Council Member
19/05/2012
JENIN, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) renewed on Friday the administrative detention of Mohammed Nassar, the Jenin municipality council member, for four months.
The Megiddo prison administration delayed handing the renewal decision to Nassar, 40, until the last moment of the end of his first six-month administrative detention.
Nassar's wife denounced the extension decision and called for an international campaign against administrative detention, which, she said, was a kind of slow death.
