Hamdan: Arab Spring Imposed New Equation for the Benefit of our People

GAZA, (PIC)-- Osama Hamdan, in charge of Hamas's international relations department, said that Palestinian resistance and the Arab spring have imposed a new equation for the benefit of the Palestinian people.

Hamdan said in a speech via video-conference during a seminar staged by Hamas's Refugee Affairs Department in Khan Yunis on Friday, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the Nakba, that the "Arab spring played a major role in establishing the principles of freedom and in championing the liberation of Palestine"

He stressed that the Palestinian refugees' right of return is inalienable, and will chart a new future in the region when implemented.

Hamdan also asserted, "The steadfastness of our people during Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000 and during the Zionist war in late 2008 demonstrates the success of their resistance."
