Israeli Occupation Authority To Release Prisoner After Serious Deterioration In His Health
24/05/2012

NABLUS, (PIC)-- The Israeli
occupation authority (IOA) has decided to release
Palestinian prisoner Zuhair Lubada, 51, after his health
seriously deteriorated.
Quds Press quoted Zuhair’s son Rashid as saying on Wednesday that the Israeli military prosecution decided to hold a trial hearing for his father in Salem army camp on Thursday to order his release in return for a fine.
He said that the step was taken after an urgent appeal filed by his father’s lawyer due to serious deterioration in his health condition.
Rashid said that his father, who was detained seven months ago, was suffering from kidney failure, liver inflammation, and cancerous tumors in his lungs, in addition to repeated fainting.
He underlined that the Ramle prison hospital refused to give his father medicine as a punishment for joining the massive prisoners’ hunger strike, which worsened his condition.
