Nafha Prisoners Refuse Relatives Because Of Strip Searches
Nafha Prisoners Refuse To Receive Relatives Because Of Strip Searches
30/05/2012

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Palestinian
prisoners in Nafha jail refused on Wednesday to receive
their visitors after they were subjected to humiliating
strip searches, especially women, human rights sources
said.
They said that the prisoners, specifically those from Jerusalem and 1948 occupied land, refused to receive their relatives after they were subjected to humiliating acts at the pretext of security.
The sources pointed out that the relatives were extremely angry at the humiliating behavior against them, and asked human rights organizations to intervene and check such practices.
The sources said that the prisoners refused the visitation as a sort of protest against such measures, and against other escalated measures against them.
