Don Juan Chávez Alonso dies in Mexico
This afternoon we were informed about the death of Don Juan Chávez Alonso.
His clarity, lucidity, his knowledge, his consistency, his word and his struggle stays with us.
Don Juan Chavez was striving for the formation of Indigenous National Congress. He stayed close to the Zapatista struggle and shared his effort s with the Other Campaign for the construction of another country in which capitalism has no place.
His death, truly, it hurts
us, but we are also pleased to have shared the struggle with
one such as compañero Juan Chávez Alonso.
Let us celebrate the joy of having walked with him to build another Mexico that we deserve.
