INDONESIA FILES DISPUTE AGAINST THE EUROPEAN UNION ON IMPORTS OF FATTY ALCOHOLS
On 30 July 2012, Indonesia notified the WTO Secretariat of a request for consultations with the European Union with respect to the imposition of definitive and provisional anti-dumping measures by the European Union on the importation of fatty alcohols from Indonesia (used in the chemical industry). In the request, Indonesia refers to a possible inconsistency of the measures with the Anti-Dumping Agreement and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT 1994).

L’INDONÉSIE ENGAGE UNE PROCÉDURE CONTRE L’UNION EUROPÉENNE SUR LES IMPORTATIONS D’ALCOOLS GRAS
Le 30 juillet 2012, l’Indonésie a présenté au Secrétariat de l’OMC une demande de consultations avec l’Union européenne au sujet de l’imposition par celle-ci de mesures antidumping définitives et provisoires sur les importations d’alcools gras (utilisés dans l’industrie chimique) en provenance d’Indonésie. Dans sa demande, l’Indonésie évoque une possible incompatibilité des mesures avec l’Accord antidumping et l’Accord général sur les tarifs douaniers et le commerce (GATT 1994).

INDONESIA PRESENTA UNA RECLAMACIÓN CONTRA LA UNIÓN EUROPEA EN RELACIÓN CON LAS IMPORTACIONES DE ALCOHOLES GRASOS
El 30 de julio de 2012 Indonesia notificó a la Secretaría de la OMC la presentación de una solicitud de consultas con la Unión Europea para tratar de las medidas antidumping definitivas y provisionales adoptadas por la UE en relación con las importaciones de alcoholes grasos de Indonesia (utilizados en la industria química). Indonesia señala con preocupación en su solicitud que esas medidas podrían estar en contradicción con las disposiciones del Acuerdo Antidumping y el Acuerdo General sobre Aranceles Aduaneros y Comercio (GATT) de 1994.
