Assange Threat
Assange Threat
Editor,
Praneet Singh of Sacramento was right all along.
Assange has nothing to fear as the British Government threat to raid the Ecuadorean Embassy in London to arrest him proves. Nobody - least of all the US - is interested in Assange the WikiLeaks editor anymore according to Praneet Singh.
I wonder why Assange's mother continues to maintain the US is behind the British raid threat? ( "Assange mother claims US behind embassy raid threat" Yahoo! News 15/8)
And, we thought colonialism had ended until the Ecuadorean foreign minister reminded us that the British threat had all the hallmarks of colonialism.
But gone are the days when Western colonialism could ride roughsod over small third world countries.
Ecuador made its own independent appraisal of the Assange asylum application and has decided it has sufficient merit to be granted.( "Ecuador grants Assange asylum in confrontation with Britain" Yahoo! News 17/8).
Ecuador the sane world salutes you.
yours sincerely,
Rajend
