Turkish Airlines Is Interested In Establishing a Fruitful Cooperation With the Airport "Kherson"

As part of the III International Tourism Forum "Kherson - rest, treatment, travels in environmental conditions of Tavria" the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak held a series of meetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps and honored guests of the Forum. The meeting was held with representatives of Turkish airlines, in particular, with the director of the airline Ayhan Kodzhaman.

In conversation with the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak, director of airline Ayhan Kodzhaman stressed that Turkish airlines is interested in establishing a fruitful cooperation with the Airport "Kherson".

Mykola Kostyak: Airport "Kherson" Will Make Kherson Region the Centre of Logistics Development

Authorities of the region aim to make tourism and agribusiness opportunities of Kherson region closer to the people, not only from other parts of Ukraine, but around the world. In order to give a more dynamic development of the area, to show its direction and projects, to demonstrate its own openness and hospitality to every entrepreneur and investor today was hosted an international conference "Air Gates of Tavria."
"Today we have an opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of Kherson region and witness the important role of the airport "Kherson," as part of a large logistics system of Ukraine and the world," - said the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Mykola Kostyak.

In Kherson a Week of European Cinema Is Being Held

As part of the Europe Days a week of European cinema is carried out from 11th to 17th May in Kherson.
Concert hall "Juvileiniy" will show viewers the best European films for free. The program includes films made in France, Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland and the UK.

The celebration marking the eleventh Europe Day in Ukraine will be held on May 18, 2013 throughout Ukraine.

Regular Flights from Kherson to Italy - a Real Prospect

President of the Association of Italy - Ukraine Giuseppe Laghezza Masci said that Italy is interested in cooperation with the Airport "Kherson." "I personally inspected the airport, we came to the conclusion that it is in excellent condition. Therefore, we see a real opportunity to establish air communication of Kherson region with the Italian cities Rome and Pescara," - said Giuseppe Laghezza Masci.

In addition, during the meeting it was announced that in June a delegation from Kherson will fly to Italy to work out all the aspects of cooperation in this area.

Airport "Kherson" Already Sends and Receives Flights from France, Italy and Greece

Today, during the International Conference "Air Gates of Tavria" according to Acting Director of CE "Kherson Airlines" of Kherson Regional Council Yaroslav Agafonov it became known that the airport "Kherson" almost every day sends and receives flights.
"Now the geography of flights is wide - France, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and the internal flights - Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk. For now these are charter flights," - said Yaroslav Agafonov.

There Will Be More Tourist Kherson Region in the Information Space

At the III International Tourism Forum, which kicked off yesterday in Skadovsk, meetings of six sections took place, in particular, the moderator of one of them - "Modern information and communication technologies in tourism, recreational and resort areas" was the Deputy Chairman of the Regional State Administration Valentyn Pidvysotskiy.

The participants of the meeting expressed their ideas about the positioning of the Kherson region for a tourist destination not only in Ukraine but also abroad through e-tourism and e-traveling, which greatly simplifies the work of travel agencies to attract tourists to our region. Next week meeting participants come together to form a plan of cooperation.

Rally "Chumatskiy Shlyah": 20 Years of Bright Moments

Rally "Chumatskiy Shlyah," which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, only the second time in history was the opening stage of the championship of Ukraine. For the first time the honor to open the most prestigious auto-racing series of the country Kherson had two years ago - at the start of the race then were 56 crews, setting a record for the gravel stages of the championship of Ukraine.

The 20th "Chumatskiy Shlyah" is a race at the same time exciting, challenging and high-quality. Note that among the first to appear in the application list was the Russian crew of Sergey Puhkalov and Sergey Nesterenko - and thus, the celebration of the Kherson anniversary will be truly international.
