Egyptian Authorities Close Rafah Crossing Tuesday
RAFAH, (PIC)-- The Egyptian authorities officially informed the Palestinian ministry of interior affairs in Gaza about its intention to close the Rafah border crossing on Tuesday on the anniversary of the 1952 revolution.
According to the Palestinian interior ministry, the Egyptian authorities will reopen on Wednesday the Rafah crossing for a limited period of time.
An Egyptian military helicopter overflew at dawn Monday the Palestinian Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, for the third consecutive time in less than two weeks.
