Nominations have just closed for local government elections, and 20 prominent Hawke’s Bay people have confirmed they wish to stand for Hawke’s Bay Regional Council.
The upcoming local government elections will be held on Saturday 12 October 2013.
The deadline for nominations passed at midday today and there were 2 nominations for Wairoa, 4 for the new Ngaruroro constituency, 7 for Napier, 5 for Hastings and 2 for Central Hawke’s Bay.
