New Zealand’s Most Creative Photography Competition Returns
New Zealand’s Most Creative Photography Competition, Canon Photo5 Returns
Auckland, New Zealand, 16 August 2013 – Returning for its 7th year, Australia and New Zealand’s most creative photography competition Canon Photo5 launches today, inspiring photographers from all walks of life to take their passion and skill set to the next level.
Photo5 starts with five everyday items in a simple brown box. Each item offers a challenge designed to inspire the creation of amazing photography.
In a Photo5 first, Canon called on its community to create this year’s People’s (Open) Brief. Narrowing it down to a shortlist of: Zero Gravity, Opposites, Water, Reflections and Age, the community voted on Reflections to kick the competition off.
“We’re excited to unveil Photo5 for 2013 and giving Aussie and Kiwi photographers a fresh chance to showcase their creativity on a trans-Tasman level. Following in the footsteps of Photo5’s past, this year’s briefs will be sure to inspire endless creativity as users get imaginative with what’s in the box,” said Rochelle Mora, Manager Consumer Marketing Communications, Canon New Zealand.
