Seasonal Flights Increase Options for Visitors
Auckland, New Zealand – 10 March, 2014. Travellers seeking to holiday in Niue this year now have greater stay options with the introduction of a mid-week service on
Air New Zealand. This seasonal service commences 21 May and runs through until 22 October to offer visitors to the island new 3 or 4 night short breaks, or a new longer 10 night holiday, complimenting the current 7 night stay.
Outbound services leave Auckland on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, cross the dateline and arrive in Niue around 2pm the day prior. Return services are Tuesday and Friday afternoons, re-crossing the dateline to return visitors back to Auckland late Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Niue’s Director of Tourism, Vanessa Marsh welcomed the extra flights saying “with many more new rooms and a raft of new activities and events to share, Niue is very ready to receive additional and much valued visitors.”
