Secretary of State Kerry and Secretary of Defense Hagel will hold a “2+2” meeting with their Republic of Korea (R.O.K) counterparts, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yun and Minister of National Defense Han, in Washington, D.C., October 24. They will discuss a wide range of issues, with the aim of further strengthening the U.S.-R.O.K alliance and advancing our bilateral partnership on regional and global affairs.
During President Obama’s April 2014 visit to Seoul, the United States and the R.O.K announced their intent to hold a 2+2 Ministerial this year, following 2+2 meetings in 2010 and 2012.
