Pope Francis Tweets on Eve of Earth Day
Rome,
April 21, 2015 - "You have to keep the land so that it can
continue to be, as God wants it, the source of life for the
entire human family.” writes Pope Francis on Twitter on
the eve of the Earth Day which is celebrated tomorrow, April
22, all over the world.
With Earth Day Network president Kathleen Rogers currently enroute to Rome for the occasion, Pope Francis referenced Earth Day as a critical moment to reflect on the spiritual and moral imperative of all people to care for the Earth.
Pope Francis leads not only the 1.2 billion Catholics of the world, but has also risen to an unprecedented level of adoration and respect among people everywhere as he becomes known for his humble manner and inclusionary and justice driven leadership.
